Bit of Advice:

Chances are someone with a Top 10 pick isn't going to be actively shopping it. It's a rare occasion someone comes out offering a 1st round pick and taking offers. Especially not in the Top 10 in a stronger draft year. I had the 8th pick and you can ask Ravi, there was active prying it from my hands involved even with a strong offer.

Best thing you should do is take the list from the Draft thread, look at the current rosters of the Top 10 holders and see if you can put together a deal to start talks about the pick. See where they have holes in the CPHL, AHL or ECHL and if you have a guy on your roster that fills that spot. Then send them a trade offer to open talks saying you have an offer and see if you can get it going from there.

You have to do some legwork in this league to get the good deals and picks, they don't just come to you. Especially if you don't have one of the elite rosters with a number of star player names that people would start fighting over. Do some research, look at their rosters, put together an offer and open up talks. Don't just wait for them to come to you.
