There is no doubt in my mind there was some type of bribery going on for probably the past 10 world cups, including USA, France & Germany.
So it's a touch unfair that Russia will now be punished for it, since they aren't exactly breaking human rights laws to the extent Qatar is. Before anyone goes on a tirade about Russia, just remember that the USA aren't a country of Saints either. Everyone had done something bad. The difference is, Qatar's WC project is DIRECTLY leading to human deaths.
It will be an extremely positive thing if Qatar loses the world cup. I wish individual federations like England, USA or even Champions Germany say that they will refuse to play in a WC in Qatar due to the slave labor being used. World Cup glory is not worth these poor workers' lives.
Then Germany should do something sneaky and offer to host in 2022
