Yup. You look at this prospect without any of the draft-day context or Feaster Kool Aid and he looks pretty damned solid:

-Centre
-6'4"
-200lbs and growing (according to him and his Twitter)
-great skating
-very intelligent, especially defensively
-soft hands like butter
-great on faceoffs
-NCAA Champion

One of the only prospects in the 2012 draft who still has some offensive upside. Though we have recently acquired two marquee centre icemen via early draft choices, it's easy to forget that this type of player does not grow on trees.

The haters just want us to keep their opinion fresh in our memories so that they can post celebratory Gifs if/when Jankowski busts out. What a pathetic existence as a sports fan. Trolls gonna troll.
