1. Go to the traffic court kiosk at the Calgary Court Center on the date specified on your fine notice, speak with the Justice of the Peace. Ask to meet with the Crown Prosecutor.

This might not work with all traffic related offences, it has worked every time I have used it with speeding related offences.
Worth the half-day off work for $100 and a few demerit points.

My wife got a photo radar ticket ($163) doing 49 kmh in a playground a while back. She honestly drives like a little old lady so I'm not sure what made her put the hammer down that evening. Anyhow she wants to see if she can get it reduced. The problem is the car is registered in my name only, and with it being photo radar can she do anything about it, or would I have to deal with it?
