Is there any way that the Flames could have already made Jankowski a bona fide offer?
Do offers have to registered with the league? Made public knowledge?
At the risk of repeating myself it would be much better for the Flames to have Jankowski playing in the AHL next year.
The only reason the Flames would not have made an offer to Jankowski is that they don't project him to be NHL quality and a waste of a contract spot.
You don't think that the Flames would have given Jankowski the option of going pro for next season?
