Looking to pick the CP brain trust...

Just purchased a house and during the home inspection it was discovered that Kitec has been used for the in floor heating. Did some googling and it seems like this is a big deal. We then called our insurance company and they will not insure any house with Kitec.

Anyone come across this issue before? Lots of information on the Internet, some saying get it fixed before buying and others saying it's not a big deal, especially for in floor heating. The insurance piece is very concerning!
