My philosophy is that I'd like to avoid tipping my hand early - to the point that I will refrain from making arguments that may say where my vote is going unless I see things going off the rails completely. My vote or non-vote, at the end of the day, should tell you what ideas I support.
Ideally, I'd like to see little "tipping off" from other townies as well. I think deadline lynches, with little lead up (i.e. early votes), benefits the town. While it has been said that this is a game about an informed minority vs. an uninformed majority, we can withhold information to our advantage.
