The Flames just need to finish in the top 3 in their division - Anaheim, Vancouver, Calgary, Los Angeles and maybe San Jose are the threats for those 3 spots. I can see LA replacing Vancouver and San Jose missing again. Teams like Dallas, Colorado, Winnipeg only come into the equation if they are trying to secure a wild card spot
