Im looking at Chicago and their cap issues heading into next season and given they have only $7m to sign 12 players (4 RFAs). Sharp has always been the talk of the man to leave town but he isn't what the Flames are looking for.

So my question is what would it take for the flames to trade and sign(in whichever order) Brandon Saad and are we interested...Chicago likely can't or doesn't want to afford him.


I realize we have an abundance of left shooting left wingers but this is a player that could stay with the team for many years and is on an upswing that seems to be endless. He's responsible in both ends and has the potential for 30/30.

Given our 3 2nd rounders do we make an offer?
