McDavid will probably have a MacKinnon-esque season and win the Calder but the Oilers will likely struggle to get more points than he does so it won't really matter. It will be a nice personal accomplishment for him though. It will be a good taste of what is to come as he embarks on the road to being this generation's Marcel Dionne.
