How is a third line NHL player a
slight upgrade on an AHL player?

Players like Agostino and Hanowski showed more in their college career and had good AHL seasons, Agostino in particular. Add in Granlund, Shore, Smith, Hathaway, Jooris, Elson etc.. That's a lot of potential bottom 6 guys to list and that's without me looking at the roster list

Lots of potential but no log jam yet/if ever.
Guys like Agostino, Van braBant, Hankowski, Reinhart, Wolf, probably have one more season to prove they can make it, if not they're moved out for another group of potential to see if you can get guys like Jooris.
We've spent a lot of time talking about something that I think probably won't happen so I'm curious what do you think the chances of A) Jankowski sucking as much as you think he will next season and B)the Flames cutting him lose if he continues his current play and continues to elevate it?
