I didn't say Colborne was garbage by any means.

He's still finding his game and perhaps we seen the best of it this far, in the playoffs. But is it enough? Will there be more? What type of game suits him and the Flames?

I know Burke wants him to use his size more and I think he is. But is he great at winning puck battles? Im not convinced. Is he good in his own end? He's OK I guess.. Is he worth holding on to for the possibility of him becoming a dominant power forward type? Or a large bodied puck distributor? I don't know.. Do any of you? I would guess not due to the fact we have yet to see what his game is. Personally, he should be well on his way to establishing his game and now should be looking at perfecting it... Both have yet to happen.

One big plus to holding onto Colborne is, he sure could help pass his knowledge onto another tall, lanky lad with good hands and hockey IQ but still looking at finding his game, Mark Jankowski.

Hunter Smith is an absolute beast. The guy is no slug when skating. Is an absolute rock infront of the net and has decent hands and IQ. My best comparison to Smith is Patrick Maroon.

Do I think Colborne is better now, absolutely. Do i think Smith will be better than Colborne? Not necessarily. The difference is, one knows what his bread and butter are in hockey. Smith knows how to be a beast down low and his very hard to knock off the puck.
