This is crazy talk, common the handcuffs are only on new GM for a very very short period dont make it out like there a long list and every trade in the CPHL goes through this process
It's done for a reason, because the league has a history of feasting of the fresh fish. Every time a new GM was added a trade couldn't happen because all the GM were circling the new guy like a pack of wolves
It's a process to protect the new guys from making a mistake that they "might" regret... because almost every GM in the league regrets their first couple trades because with hindsight.. yes some good trades get blocked but you know what... they handcuffs are on the GM for a very short period, not even a couple weeks< make the trade then when there is no review process
Protect the new guy for a couple weeks from mistake ,a mistake they might regret is such a horrible thing that we have to be openly against the whole process... because a deal can't wait two weeks just in case a GM might catchup wit the rules
I've been on both sides of the ruling, and although I always like the deal, I understand the reasoning for it. Anti up or sit on your hands a couple weeks and hope the GM doesn't move him elsewhere and still interested in the deal
