IMO, he would return maybe a 3rd round pick. Could we get another Jooris from a 3rd? Maybe a 10% chance. And that would be 4 or 5 years from now.
On the other hand, there is a chance that Jooris continues to develop into a solid bottom 6er who can put up 15 goals a year - and is almost there now.
Horrible asset management to trade him right now IMO.

I guess for me, I just don't feel Jooris as a long term player for this organization unless he is able to up his offensive game a bit and turning into a 2nd/3rd line RW. For the playoffs, we were playing him as a 4th line C which I see Stajan as next year and/or Arnold soon. We have tons of bottom 6 prospects, and although Jooris has found his spot on this team, he will always have someone knocking on the door for his spot.
I guess time will tell, he'd be an excellent Jones replacement if we decide that he is good enough to bump out Jones after the 2016 season.
