The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed defenceman Jakub Nakladal from TPS Turku of the Finnish SM-Liiga to a one-year, two-way entry level contract.
Nakladal, a native of Pardubice, Czech Republic, spent 2014-15 with TPS Turku of the SM-Liiga. In 50 games this season, Nakladal recorded 15 points (3G, 12A) and 63 PIMs. He represented the Czech Republic at the 2015 IIHF World Championships where he led all Czech defencemen with five assists in 10 games.
