I think it's a shame he cut bait and ran back to the KHL. He should've given the NHL another year...even if it wasn't with the Flames.

Yeah, I wasn't as down on Cervenka as a first year NHLer as some were. I'd have maybe given him another full year.
A point more than Bouma? That's pretty good for an experimental guy. Of course, he didn't bring the other facets that Bouma brings, but even if he was just a 20 goal guy, without much defence or grit, that's Mason Raymond at bargain prices.
