Just thinking about going through my TV listings without seeing Simpsons on it makes me depressed.
I PVR every new episode and while I might not watch it religiously on Sunday night, every once in a while I'll have it on in the background as I'm doing something else and I still find the jokes witty and funny. The show could go on for another 20 years and I'd still be happy about it.

I think that's what everyone is saying?
"How is it still on, I haven't heard of anyone watching new episodes in the last decade"
It'll still be on TV forever. It's got a million episodes and is syndicated by pretty much every network in every country. Eventually Netflix will carry it too.
