Svechnikov is all about playing in North America. He loves it here. He's a team player, who puts the team first.
He was a point per game in the playoffs, and was one of the leaders who almost knocked off the Memorial Cup hosts. Cape Breton had a horrible 2nd period in game 7, it sucks when you win 2 periods of a game but lose. Of note, Quebec went on to sweep their next two series (Charlottetown in Round 2; Moncton in Semi-Finals) and are currently tied 2-2 in the QMJHL final against Rimouski.
I'd be happy with Svechnikov.
And keep in mind that he wanted to play in North Amercia bad enough to report to a remote team in the QMJHL that others have refused to report to due to either the travel, or the poor management (in fairness it has turned around since Dumont took over).
