Yes there is the Provorov's and the Werenski's and such. But if the Flames did intend to move up in the draft the player I would hope to get would be Mikko Rantanen. Svechnikov's Finnish clone but with more speed, an extra inch in height and I think 5 more pounds out of the box.

In the end: Adding a great prospect @ 15 and then stockpiling quality talent in the 2nd round would be a wiser bet. As much as they are potential Flames players in the future, they're also valuable assets moving forward as they develop.
