The Oilers and Canucks are our #1 and #2 rivals. We battle them all season & bicker back and forth with their fans. I would never, ever cheer for them. Ever. Are you telling me you cheered for them in 2006 and 2011? If so, then yes. It does diminish your statis as a Flames fan. Not sure how you can be a Flames fan & cheer for the Oilers and Canucks at the same time.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for the other Canadian teams as we don't really have that big of a rivalry with them. Personally, I would never cheer for the Leafs and Canadiens. As for the Sens and Jets, it depends on who they are playing. If I like the American team more, I'll cheer for that American team. But I can see us gaining a rivalry with the Jets again and I would assume they may get in the same category as the Canucks and Oilers soon enough.
