I'm glad he may finally get a chance at life. Every person that has overlooked him in his life has clearly not had Omar's interests in mind. From his ridiculous family to his US captors at Gitmo, etc. I thought his psychological assessment that was released was fairly telling and struck me as being a reasonable assessment (ie: there's some risk, but he's made great strides and deserves a chance).
