I thought it would be a battle to get tix the entire run, no matter if it lasted 1, 2 or 3 rounds simply due to the drought and the fact that the team is in no way a lock for playoffs next year...

How is it hard to argue. You can't just say that without numbers to back it up. Building is what, about 90% to 95% sold out? So how much lower do they need to drop the prices of ALL the already sold tickets, to sell the remaining 5% to 10% more? It depends where you think that break point is. Drop them by 10%...........might be worth it. Drop the price by 50%, the Flames current strategy is clearly better. All depends on where you think that break point is to sell out the building, but it's very easy to argue that given just how expensive the tickets are, that selling out the building at the level they have has been very profitable for them, and a solid choice.
