Actually its probably closer to 2.5 million a year. With full bonuses Bennet comes in around 3.6 million.

Lets face it when Bennet signs his second contract his salary is not going to be an issue because you expect him to produce. In the mean time management needs to be smart and make sure that some of the more expensive depth type players like Jones, Raymond, Smid, Engelland are replaced with more economical options, and ensure the guys they do pay still produce.

Two more games to see first hand what the Ducks are doing is priceless in my books. This is experience that is really hard to get for an 18 year old player.
