I was walking around downtown today and decided to visit a jewelry store. This place had an omega watch that I was interested in, so I went inside to have a look.
Anyway, as I was walking around, looking at the omega display case, a sales rep standing no more than 2 feet away from me just stood there like a stump. He never bothered to ask if I needed help, but just stood there. I thought this was a bit odd, so I turned myself around and asked if I can look at a watch I had my eye on. He lazily walks around to the display case and asks which one. I pointed the watch out. He reaches in, grabs the wrong watch and lays it on the counter, and walks away. I just stood there wondering if this guy is on drugs or something.
Anyway, I thought of complaining, but then I noticed that no one else seemed to be interested in my business. In the end I walked out.
It kinda got me thinking...I wasn't exactly wearing armani or versace, as a matter of face, I just had on a plain white collar shirt, pair khakis, and some cheap black shoes. Maybe they didn't think I could afford it? Too bad they weren't looking at my wrist
So anyone here ever had an experience like this?
