I'll probably mark Wildrose today, as I do believe the PC's deserve a bit of a kick in the arse, but sure as hell don't believe that kick should come from the unwieldy boot of an NDP government. I'm actually quite surprised, as I always figured that there'd be a change of the guard in some way, but the NPD? Yeesh.
I thought Jean was a little less impressive in the debates, but simply have more hope that the WR would manage the books better than a PC (and certainly an NDP) government. Concentrating "just a bit more" wealth into the hands of the government and their coffers (whether it be from corporations or individuals) just doesn't strike me as an answer here. My read of the book "Barbarians in the Garden City" about the NDP's time in BC left an impression long ago, and I hope many Albertans have the "sober second thought" once the ballot's in hand.
