McDonald's problem isn't caused by being in incorrect alignment with business organizations requiring an immediate synergy shift to recall segmented sales within regional franchisees. Or whatever they're trying to say.
Their problem is that they haven't kept up.
Wendy's, Burger King, A&W, Dominos, and many others have changed their product, changed how they make and serve their food. McDonald's? It's still McDonald's.
Try A&W or Dominos (pan pizza) and tell me it's what you thought of when I said A&W or Dominos. It actually tastes good and I was surprised with the taste and edibleness of the product and ingredients. Burger King took a step back, IMO, and Wendy's spicy chicken can't be beat for fast food yumminess.
But McDonald's is still McDonald's. Same drab coloured food, same drab taste. If they changed anything it sure doesn't show or taste like it. Granted, I was only talked into a McDonald's after many many years, but I'll never go back.
McDonald's doesn't need to change their menu, they need to change their product and make it stand out, much like the others have now done.
