I see the situation being similar to trading Iginla. Half of our fan base was paranoid about moving on because they were afraid of the unknown, even thought the known-entity had been stuck in neutral for half a decade. Only a fw months later, it felt like a new energy had been brought into the organization, and you wondered why the hell it took so long.
Sometimes change for the sake of change is what's needed to reset expectations and to make you realize there are always more options. At this stage, I'd even prefer a WR win, and I disagree with them on almost everything.
