I don't think Hiller is a better goalie because his rebound control leaves much to be desired. Ramo's is better (but perhaps not by much), and that will be key to the Flames' success in this series.
I like the move to Ramo because Hiller has not looked great in two straight games now. I also like this move because Ramo is the only one of the Flames three goalies who have faced Anaheim this season to have beaten them clean.
Also, I'm not as worried about Ramo's performance in Game 1. The problem with him is that he seems to take some time to get up to speed after being parachuted into a game. The second goal he allowed in Game 6 was not great, but he steadied himself and made some really good saves in the third. Here's hoping he had the time in Game 1 to make the adjustments he needs to make.
