There's no reason to expect our defensemen will achieve less than these numbers next season(assuming 82 games):
Giordano 13g 40a 53p
Wideman 10g 35a 45p
Brodie 7g 33a 40p
Russell 5g 25a 30p
Total of 35 goals between the top 4, a totally reasonable expectation given what happened this year. Are these numbers really out of line? For the record I wouldn't be surprised if all four did better, but I think those are reasonable baseline expectations. Mike Green doesn't really have a spot on this team IMO. A guy like Zbynek Michalek is a much better target, but we might need to pony up.
