I don't think there is any reason at all to think that production from the D is going to drastically fall off next year.

We have seen it with the Canucks all peaking at once 2011 that it's extremely hard to maintain career seasons especially when it's a group thing. I simply don't see Wideman matching this season's numbers nor do I see Giordano. All I know is if this unit slips next year they may end up being the team we thought they would be this season. I believe this is an area that needs to still be improved despite a solid overall season by the group.
