No, it wasn't that hard to see the point you were making. I should have addressed the point in addition to the pet peeve.
I'm not sure where Survivor goes with this, honestly. Do they (or a judge) consider what Will said to be verbal abuse in the first place? Or was it just like any other argument any other contestant's had with any other contestant over the 30 seasons? Shirin felt it was abuse, but was it actually? Would a judge agree with her? Or is Will just being an insensitive clod (makes him a jerk, but is not illegal).
If Survivor clamps down on any potential verbal abuse...we'll end up with 18 people sitting around a fire doing nothing as they are afraid of saying anything. It's a difficult position for them, as it's pretty easy to see physical abuse, harassment or assault. It's harder to see where the line's drawn for verbal abuse.
