Yeah, it's going to need a paint job. The PO (one of a few) had a respray done over the original paint about 12 years ago, which doesn't look too bad, but it's starting to chip off in places and is pretty scratched up. There's also a dent in the RF fender where the last owner hit a road closed sign which has been badly "paintless dent" repaired
Unfortunately all my money has gone into the mechanical side, so that is going to have to wait a while. This car was really badly neglected by the time I got to it and it needed a huge amount of work (and $$$, also many sleepless nights) just to get it running safely and reliable. Buying a 35 year old car is not for the faint of heart
She's an old girl with lots of battle scars and a long way to go, but I love her just the same.
PS - Anybody here recommend / know of a good paint / body shop?
