Too late.
Things didn't catch up to them. They made the playoffs AND upset a higher seeded team.
Losing to the Ducks or anything after isn't "Things catching up to you", it's the expected result.
You were wrong.
The way you analyze hockey is flawed.
There is no "SEEE! I told you so!" when the Flames lose in OT in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. Sorry.

Exactly. The Flames are in the 2nd year of a rebuild and have made the 2nd round of the playoffs (so far). They also were sellers at the deadline by picking up two 2nd rounders and one 3rd round pick in this year's draft. This season is nothing but a success, no matter how they finish up.
I'm not so sure that playing keep away along the boards and shooting wide of the net is the best way to give out Stanley Cup rings. Luckily the NHL still gives them to the teams that can score more goals against teams.
It takes an average sized man to admit when he's wrong. Lambert is a small, petty man. It's a sad state when he criticizes a team for working hard and developing chemistry. If he worked harder maybe his articles wouldn't suck.
