An EX35/37 is literally the exact same car as the G35/G37x with a hatchback, and the FX is about as stiff and quick. And I don't really get why you'd think RWD was necessary? I guess it's just taste, but... Audi? What I wouldn't give to drive this sucker.

Like I said, to each his own, and I've spent a fair number of hours in an early 2000's Mustang, and for me, it wasn't exciting, just felt like driving a car.
First of all, I can't understand your perspective. I'm talking about a RWD car for $12K in response to a guy saying he likes Corvettes but they're too expensive and you're telling me about how much fun FX crossovers are to drive. Like it doesn't even make sense. They're totally different cars meant for totally different driving experiences and one of them is double or triple the price of the other.

And now you're throwing in an Audi RS6? Yes, I also concede that the 950 horsepower RS6 is better than my Mustang. Nobody would argue that. Let me hop on Kijiji really quick and see if I can pick one up for $11,800.

So a Mustang wasn't exciting for you - it felt like driving a car. Well guess what it is? A car. Are you saying it felt like driving around a Honda Civic? If that's what you meant, then yes, you're right that you can opt to drive them around in a sedate manner. If you want to rip around in a more enthusiastic manner, however, then of course the Mustang will be more fun than the Civic.
