Is the fit any different between authentic and replica? ^They might look the same, but if the fit is better, I would say it's worth the extra cost to purchase an authentic.
I got a replica retro (former 3rd jersey) when Sport Chek was getting rid of them for $30 a couple of summers ago, and I find it kind of baggy all over even though it's the right size for me (medium). I was thinking about putting a name and number on it this summer but if the fit is better in an authentic I might just say screw it and buy one of those.
