no one got more out of his group, composed largely of guys with zero to little experience, than Hartley. Maurice is probably the closest but he still had vets like Ladd, Little, Buff, Wheeler etc to lean on. We came in with a few vets, but largely relied on players that at the start of the year weren't used to any of the responsibilities and competition they were faced with. Bob fast tracked them to being bonafide NHL regulars.
Hartley is the right choice.
