That's true only because you wanted to buy new. The lesson from Torquedog should be that you can buy an awesome car for a fraction of the price if you're willing to forego the new-car smell (which is bad for you anyway).

Yeah, I was in a bind. Needed a car as my job was outside of the city and had to finance.
