Saturday's game had everything going for it.
- The early 3 goal deficit
- Hiller pulled for Ramo
- Ferland cementing his legend status for this playoff year
- The comeback (twice)
- Stajan netting the winner
- The crowd going insane
- The top line getting 10 points
- Eliminating the Canucks
Without a doubt the most fun I've ever had in attendance at a game.
It wasn't the MOST important win, but you could make a case that it's top 5.
I wasn't the best hockey either, it was a pretty sloppy game.
But to define "Best" flames game ever? its so subjective but this one has to rank right up there. Since I've been following the team (mid 90's) the only one's I can compare this to are 2004 game 7 against Vancouver, and 2004 Game 6 against Detroit. The Sarich hit against Marleau, that game is close but losing that series takes the thunder away for me.
Saturday's game may top my list. its close.
