I wouldn't peg Granlund for an exit just yet. Jooris is two years older and is good no doubt. But Granlund gets one more year IMO before that sort of decision is made. He works hard. Is improving steadily and positively. He is the exact kind of guy you let over ripen Detroit style in the AHL. I really do believe he's capable of being a Dynamic player akin to Nyquist or Abdelkader. Both endlessly useful in building a perennial contender.
I like Jooris but if I were the decision maker and had to choose between the two, I'd keep Granlund and move Jooris.
Klimchuk, Poirier, Jankowski ETC are all minimum two seasons away from being full time roster guys. Lots of time to see what you have with Granny, Jooris and the rest.
Actually, I'll get flamed for this but I could certainly see Poirier be a player that could be traded. I'd bet you could get a decent D man out of MTL or OTT for a regional kid. And I LOVE Poirier.
