It really is incredible how cheap Rogers is. You've got an amazing montage maker on HNIC who has multiple stories done on him for just how incredible he is at his job. People all across the country speak to his talent level for a couple of years to the point where he's almost a mini-celebrity in the hockey watching world.
So they sign a $12 billion contract and promise all this amazing new production value and features, but somewhere along the line they made a decision to cut what can't be more than $56-60k. When you factor in that someone still has to make montages I wouldn't be surprised if the actual savings are like $20-$30k.
