Cause it's not a discussion.
It's one side going after a whole fan base for a G-rated joke. Look at what happened when all I said was, in essence, "Is this really that big of deal".
The whole site seemed to have aneurysm. That's not an environment that welcomes healthy discussion.
It's one thing when you can clearly point out a lot of people who are being tangibly affected and insulted by an issue (like the red mile) and another when people attack you for something as insignificant as a chant which is the equivalent of saying "you play hockey like Katy Perry".
