(I do think he earned an NHL job in training camp this year, and it's just too bad that in most professions you don't need to live up to the standard of the guy you are trying to replace, you need to exceed it, but that's life).

Given Baertschi explicitly said that he didn't care what number he wore, and initially only stuck with 47 because of people who bought jerseys with that number, it is rather obvious that Team1040 is desperately searching for a new angle to the story.
