The Flame stat is irrelevant because the games span over 2 generations of the team, and who pays attention to game 2s anyway.
The Canuck one was real, as they had at least a half dozen guys in their room that have felt those losses, and likely have some dread in their heads.
The finish series stuff going back 11 years won't effect anything.
The team is young and every new experience is exactly that.

Well how do you explain the 20+ straight losses in the Honda Center? Plenty of different players over the last decade in and out and the same results. Some losing streaks transcend the players and become an organizational streak such as these losing streaks. I fully realize that just because it happened in 2004, 2006, 2008 doesn't mean it will happen with a different group. Jets/Thrashers have been swept in their only two playoff series despite totally different teams. Their streak of losing playoff games continues. Bottom line is that regardless of the current players or coaches it's still a fact the Flames are on a streak of losing playoff games where they have teams on the ropes. Until that streak is broken it's very relevant.
