This comes on the heels of reaching an agreement on abortion language in a anti-human trafficking bill. The GOP had been using this to hold up the confirmation of Lynch as attorney general. The GOP had snuck in an ammendment to the bill that would bar funds going to organizations that provide abortion services. |
