I've seen this posted a bunch of times since that goal. That had nothing to do with Hughson upset about the Flames scoring or anythign like that. That's his style. I have gone back and listened to every goal in the series. On every clean goal, he will say SCORES, then the goal scorer's name and let the crowd reaction, be it loud or quiet take over.

So when Russell scored, he let the stunned silence of the Vancouver crowd take over.

You can say that style sucks or you don't like it, but to say that was his bias showing thru is just false.

That Russell goal was just another case of people hearing what they want to hear. I think Hughson has been fine. He's been going along with the story of the series. Game 2 story was Canucks dominating and Vancouver's love for Eddie Lack. Game 3 was about Bennett and Ferland and he was giving much love there.
