He found me an iron set of Cobra's (3100's) marked down by 200$ After testing that and lower quality sets the difference was very noticable.

I also got the impression that there was no commission.

After that I went to the giant, Golf Town. I found it quite overwhellming. It was busy with little sales staff to help. Found the Cobra's for 200 dollars more.

The thing I noticed about Golf Town was that they tell you a products marked down but not from what price.

I'm 85% sure that I want to get the Cobra's and then find a driver. (I have a couple of decent fairway woods)

Any driver recommendations in the 100-170$ range?

It may be out of your way, but the Pro shop at McCall Lake is having a sale. When paying my last greens fee, I asked and the lady said the city wasn't going to renew the contract of the company that set up the pro-shop, so stuff was being cleared out.

May be a deal there, but I didn't have any prices to compare.
