Lots of thoughts, the scoreboard didn't show how dominant the Flames were, this should have been 6-2 or 7-2 #legendoflack.

While the shots were pretty even the Canucks didn't have a lot of quality scoring chances.

The Canucks looked like they were blown up by the third period and they're not a young team at all. If the Flames crank up the hitting on Tuesday I don't know if the Canucks will have a response.

I've lost complete respect for Desjardins. He clearly told the Canucks to target the Flames better players and we saw two what I consider to be hits to injure. We also saw a real cheap shot by Edler on Ferland and then Bieksa basically jumping him. Bieksa might want to be suspended because a guy like Ferland having his number is dangerous.

Calgary had 33 hits to Vancouvers 18 and the Calgary stats guys are always conservative when it comes to hits.

Bennett is going to be a star in the league. He's got great offensive instincts and he's got the physical game that Johnny Hockey doesn't have.

The Canucks should be looking at three suspensions Burrows and Bieksa got instigators in the last 5 minutes. Hamhuis could be looking at multiple games for a blatant hit to the head.

If the Flames come out with the same hitting game and intensity in game three I feel pretty good about our chances. The Flames gas tank is a lot bigger and younger then the Canucks.
