What do you mean by "ugly"? Are you judging people's real virtues by their appearance? Or are you suggesting that if someone is "unattractive" by your Shallow Hal's sexual standards, they are no good? Or is it Sedin's hair colour?

Insults are meant to insult and offend; therefore, someone somewhere will be offended by something in them. Sports game entertainment is rooted into one group of people hating another for no reason other than allegiance to the team they've chosen to cheer for. It is ultimately dumb, senseless and illogical but the fans love it anyway for the kick of that wonderful winning feeling once in a while. Insults and trash talk are a part of the process that's been invented and cultivated by the show producers since Roman gladiator fights.
High horse is comfortable to sit on but not that useful to ride. One keeps falling off it all the time.
