Is Willie D trying to kill the Flames with kindness? This is so weird these nice things coming out of Vancouvers side. So used to Vigneult singing to the gods about all of the atrocities piling up at the Canucks gates.

He's no Pat Quinn (biggest whiner of a head coach ever) that's for sure. I think he's just being respectful as that seems to be his character. I realize that Canucks fans are all over him for his game management and you can certainly question it after a close loss but that game management did get them to 100 points so you can't really fault him for going with what got them there which was rolling four lines. That said the playoffs is all about which team makes the best adjustments so it will be interesting to see how rigid he is going to be with rolling 4 lines as we all know Hartley shortens the bench in the 3rd period in pretty well any close game. I certainly don't expect Hartley to be thinking down the road with his game management of players as it's all about winning the game at hand with him.
