in my mind, flames are an obvious underdog here. Canucks key players at every position have vast playoff experience. They have a solid mix of high end skill and gritty role players that can put the puck in the net, and their top D men have no real glaring deficiency.
Goaltending could be a toss up, both teams have had good to moderately unpredictable goaltending all year.
My fear is that the big stage causes some of the key flames players (youth) to play overly cautious, get behind and then make glaring mistakes if they panic.
Flames only shot is if they get solid goaltending, and if they're young kids play like they don't know any better (ie. don't cramp up due to the situation) and cash in on their opportunities..
It's plausible, just hope the team doesnt' come out tight, overly-nervous and overwhelmed at the big stage.
